Jolie Studio is made up of Franky and Chloe. We are two passionate and experienced interior specialists with different backgrounds, but a shared vision.
Our experiences in both commercial and private, design and technical brought us naturally together to create a studio that would bridge what we felt was a gap in the market. We design offices, homes and commercial spaces to lift spirits, enrich lives and enhance performance.
After leaving school in Oxfordshire, Franky went on to study Architectural Technology in Bristol before making the move to Manchester 6 years ago. Attracted by the thriving industry and growing prospects of the City, Franky took up the role of Head of Design for the large commercial property developer Bruntwood at 23. It was at Bruntwood that Franky met her now business partner and co-founder of Jolie, Chloe Cotard. Franky was recently voted as one of Manchester's 30 under 30 entrepreneurs.
Although born in Cheshire, Araitz spent the majority of her childhood growing up in the East Midlands. She decided to return to the North of England to study Interior Design at Manchester School of Art, and has enjoyed living and working in the city ever since. Araitz has a dual nationality of Spanish and Dutch and grew up with a curiosity and passion for culture, design and architecture. Travel has always played an important part in her life, having been lucky enough to visit some amazing countries and cities. Araitz loves to meet new people and witness different lifestyles and likes to embrace these experiences and incorporate them into her design work.
Chloe left her beautiful hometown of Strasbourg to study Interior Architecture at the National School of Art in Paris. After completing her degree she landed a dream high-end residential role in the heart of the city. At the start of 2016, Chloe decided she wanted to expand her knowledge and skill set and made the move to the UK after hearing about the development and wealth of opportunities of the city of Manchester. She soon took up a design role with property developer Bruntwood in Manchester’s city centre. It was in this role that she met her now business partner and co-founder of Jolie, Franky Rousell. Chloe was recently voted as one of Manchester's 30 under 30 entrepreneurs.
